2010 is officially over!

It's a new year and we all know resolutions come with the territory... changes (big or small) we vow to make in the future. Ever reflective I've been turning my life over in my head to come up with my new year resolutions for 2011.

I posted them on Facebook one by one as they came to me and the feedback was generally positive so I may just be on to a few things, LOL :)

Now the first day of the rest of my life is here: 1st January 2011 and here follows my new year resolutions(in the order that they occurred to me).

THE BIG EIGHT

#1.
LOL, stop having bbm convos after 6pm. (I inevitably fall asleep in the middle of them)


#2.
STOP checking for people that clearly don't give a f*ck about me.


#3.
Accept that ‘my type’ may not necessarily be what is meant for me and act accordingly. If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.


#4.
Remove the word 'can't' from my vocabulary. Impossible is nothing.


#5.
Don't let 2011 meet me with any of these 'made in China' bitches in my life.


#6.
Develop myself and my dreams in 2011 even more so than I did in 2010 -God willing (I thought about what a huge year 2010 was for me - lots of firsts, a couple lasts, ups, downs, made a few friends, dropped a couple fakers, registered Whas De Action, co-founded ISLAND FUSION, launched CERTIFIED and got a year closer to being Sade N. Jemmott Attorney-at-Law!!) ----> Oh Jah!!! I have to give thanks for my many many blessings. Without you none of it would have been possible. I'm so ready for what 2011 holds!

Stop focusing so much on what my INTENTION was and pay more attention instead to what IMPRESSION was received. People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Live each day like my last, love deeper, laugh harder, cry without shame, never go to sleep angry and regret nothing that made be happy even if only for a moment!

Learn to stand on my own two feet and never become so dependent on someone else that I actually NEED them because the reality is that even your own shadow leaves you when you are in darkness.
